New Chicago is the American State's second metropolitan hub. Located in the Midwest, its suburbs encompass the Dust's hometown of Spokie.

The New Chicago area suffered greatly in the States War. Rubble still surrounds the outskirts of the main city where some neighborhoods, like those that constitute the Ruins, were destroyed and never rebuilt.
